Secure UDP Unicast/Broadcast/Multicast Technology for Streaming Video, Syslog, SNMP

The Secure UDP Packet Transfer System (UPTS) is capable of operating in Unicast/Broadcast mode and in Multicast mode. UPTS provides a UDP application level protocol bridge across our patented, hardware based security to support one-way communications. Secure UPTS hardware uses custom device drivers for the communication cards and the low level Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) communication protocol to support high-speed (155 Mbps) one-way transmission.

How It Works

UDP is a simple transport layer protocol. It is described in RFC 768 [Postel 1980]. The application writes a datagram to a UDP socket, which is encapsulated as either an IPv4 datagram or an IPv6 datagram, which is then sent to our Blue machine. The packet payloads are transferred directly across the DualDiode. Once received on the Red machine, the packets are directed to a designated IP address and port on the disconnected network. 

The Secure UPTS utilizes DualDiode technology. This "trust nothing" design ensures that data residing on the secure computer is fully protected. Our hardware-based solution offloads the DMA transfers, checksum calculations, and cell packet support operations of our messages from the CPU. Since the transfer is file based and completely independent of UDP/IP and TCP/IP protocols, the data transfer is immune to all protocol related attacks. 

Our OEM solution provides the software, hardware and Install Software for operation in your existing Microsoft NT machines. This includes customized communication hardware for "send-only" and "receive-only" operations, the communication drivers and Secure UPTS send and receive applications. A turnkey solution that includes both send and receive NT based host systems can be purchased as well.
